Enrique D´Altamirano

He leads the fashion design industry as an entrepreneur, consultant, mentor, teacher, and fundraiser. He proudly donates his designs and time to the annual fundraising charity auction for DIFFA (The Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS). Enrique cares and takes pride in promoting the various cultural and historical celebrations that help keep Mexico’s proud history and its people known at home and abroad. Utilizing the annual Festival organized by residents of his home state of Guerrero, Enrique designs the gown worn by the incoming Festival Queen and correlates it with the rich history of Mexico’s past cultures. He also supports the proud tradition of showcasing the beauty of young Latinas. He advises, mentors, and coaches contestants in various pageants in the refined elements of posture, poise, and confidence required to successfully walk the runway in competition for the title and crown of Miss Latina Texas, Miss Latina Dallas, Miss Latina Houston, and Miss World Latina U.S.A. Enrique’s most fulfilling moments come every October when he celebrates the proudest tradition of Latino culture, «El Día de los Muertos.» He designs and builds exhibits at various venues, including the Dallas Latino Cultural Center, the Dallas Arberetum, and the Bathhouse Cultural Center at White Rock Lake.
